The place was nice with very unique chips. If your expecting a Harry Ramsdens then your wrong. Was hoping for a nice battered cod and proper chips. Anyway expectations out of the way, cocktails were nice and staff friendly. Although we had booked a table, we were sat facing a window with the blind down side by side next to the toilet and front door that people kept leaving open. Not exactly the best seating arrangement

Very nice place. Food better than expected. Good value. Nice staff. Incredibly busy and we had to queue to order, but Saturday in August - to be expected.

Great little place. Very accommodating, fab food and lovely decor. Has baby changer and crayons and colouring for little ones.

Good food. Very cheap. Really good home made burgers. Good portion sizes

I wouldn't go anywhere else for an Indian in Bude! The Reshmi Chicken is to die for and the service is always excellent. Been there plenty of times and had great food. Tonight, after a dish was accidentally not put in the bag on my takeaway order, they tried to call me straight away but I was driving home. When I returned their call, they told me their mistake and they drove the dish to my house!! Such amazing service, can't thank them enough! Would 100% recommend.

Not being a local, found it a little difficult to find a good restaurant, suitable for a special meal with my wife. We didnt book and were treated very well, the staff were so helpful and friendly, and the food was amazing! If you want a very good indian cuisine experience, I can Highly Recommend Bayleaf. And its all exceptionally well priced to!

We had the best curry here today on fathers day , the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Would highly recommend! Thanks for a lovely lunch

Food was decent, one of the better Indian restaurants I've been to. Service wasn't as good, waitress was friendly but 2 the two waiters not so much. As per the previous review the thing that drops this from a 5 star to a 4 star is the £2 packaging charge, it's kind of a strange thing to add on because if they thought about it they actually give them away for free with takeaway meals and in fact give you 15% discount on takeaway so it's cheaper still, it just seem illogical to have a charge like this that would potentially deter customers from returning just for a couple of quid profit

Stayed here for one night while away with work. Was really impressed and am looking to go back with my wife and son. Lovely location, friendly staff and the meal I had was to die for

Excellent pizza. Fresh dough, hand formed, and plenty of variety. Amongst the best I've eaten. Its a small place, and if you go at the wrong time, you might not get in quickly, but they do takeout and delivery too. I'd swap my local Pizza Hut for a La Bocca any day.

Food was good but service massively met it down the chef was working overtime and did amazing. However table staff were awful making us feel as we are an inconvenience to them. After waiting 1 hour without food seeing others going by and staff not noticing us not having food.

My favourite shop of all time! This shop is out of this world, in a good way. It's unique, fun and interesting, selling everything from furniture to gifts! If your heading to Bude this shops is a MUST!

Wow what a shop, full of all sorts of different unique items. We bought a few things from here that I've never seen any where else. Like a crystal lamp and a giant wooden spider!!

Great little gem in the middle of Bude. Always made to feel welcome, love the idea you can take your own food in.

Great, dog friendly quierky bar, setee's, pool table, bandits and good music. Staff are really friendly. I cannot fault it.

A more traditional pub, pool table and live music on Friday and Saturdays. Had pie and chips here very nice, particularly impressed by the amount of filling. Seating outside on front of pub, overlooking road and River Neet. Gets the sun late afternoon and evening.

I have fond memories of this place from when I last visited Bude. Plenty of Cornish Ales available on draught. Outside seating is perfect in the fine weather to watch the world go by. Live acts perform on Friday at 9PM. There is a DJ on Saturday night. Food is also available until 8:30PM.

Had a takeaway from here whilst staying in the area, the food was hot and tasty, well priced, staff were friendly, we would go back when in the area again.

Best Chinese takeaway in and around the Bude area in my opinion. I have never had a bad dish from here. We always use Chung's. There is no dedicated parking but street parking is available.

Delicious food that’s prepared well... it’s not swimming in grease, it’s well made and totally yummy. Locals all agree it’s the best Chinese in Bude. Favourite dish is the crispy shredded beef 👍🏽 They do delicious sweet and sour too, though!

This is an above-average cafe attached to a garden centre, located on the main road from Bude heading towards Red Post / Holsworthy. It's open seven days a week including Bank Hols (closed for Christmas), and can get very busy at weekends and at holidays. It's just down the road from a residential old folks home, and often attracts visiting families who've come to see parents and grandparents. The menu is mainstream traditional British; steak and kidney pie, jacket potatos, lasagne, macaroni cheese, soup of the day, shepherd's pie, etc, and usually a Special of the Day which will be some kind of roast meal with two veg. Portions are generous and the food is very tasty. For summer, they do a range of salads, pasties and quiches but don't expect to find adventurous or unusual ingredients! The menu harks back to the 1950s in many ways but the quality is better than you'd expect. It's all cooked on the premises. You order at the counter (only one member of staff takes orders so there can be a big queue) and meals are then delivered to your table. They have a licence so you can order a glass of wine but the range is limited. The range of cakes, on the other hand, is superb. Many are baked in their own kitchen and are delicious; the treacle tart and chocolate tiffin are among the best I've had served anywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful, too. Lunch for two can cost over £20, so this isn't a bargain, but the food is very dependable and hearty, and we eat here fairly regularly as a result... 7/10

Ordered fish and chips take away with vinegar and salt. At the seafront when we opend the bag there was no salt and vinegar on them and the taste of the batter was verry greasy. A little disappointed.

Looks manky on the outside, chips are nice but I felt sick after. Paper is very flimsy

Visited July 2018 and was seriously impressed. As well as great tasting food at fair prices, they really have thought of everything. A free water station, eco-friendly pacakaging, a park for kids, even a miniture toilet. Its on the beach with fab sunset views and we didnt wait long for our food on any of our 3 visits there. Definately recommed!

Rosies offers truly excelent food and a great range of beers and lagers. The food is broad ranging and special dietary requirements are also catered for. Parking is convenient for the restaurant and for Crooklets Beach. Outside seating is great in the summer and in the winter you can enjoy the dramatic scenery with a lovely hot chocolate. A quaint restaurant which oozes character. The staff are helpful and dogs are also welcome.
